| yeah... no offense but it doesn't surprise me you only watch the playoffs (if even) and seems like you only watch the sportscenter highlights because the game (unless you're watching ricky davis or something) isn't nearly as selfish or dunk crazy as you're making it. I also question how much you watch NCAA basketball because while the fans are always legit, the players sure haven't really displayed anything to show me they want to win for their school more than an NBA players does for him team. If it was really about the school and not them why do I almost never see a senior who has talent suit up? Of course there will be exceptions to the rule (again ricky davis). But when the Spurs, Pistons and Mavericks have been the dominant teams of recent and the MVPs (dirk, duncan, nash, garnett) since 2001 years are total team players (infact one of them being a PG) I'm question your bitterness.
NCAA basketball sucks until march unless your team is always on the bubble. Losses mean nothing (problem with keeping the NBA interesting too if your team is fighting over a playoff spot) and so its just cruise control until rivalry games (unc/duke = leet) and march madness. |
