Field has since closed down and now the only place to play is a CQB, which kind of sucks.

Since I'm a WWII buff I bought a thompson.

I think the Turtles blanket brings out the manliness.

If I ever start playing again, they make an airsoft replica of a M1 Garand now, supposedly with a dummy-clip that recreates the authentic "ping'. Would love to get my hands on one of those.

And yes, I did look into doing a Chicago mod but it ended up costing about as much as the gun did, and they don't sell the barrell drum mag anymore, I'd have had to DIY one up from a M4. The wood stock is a real bitch to aim with from behind cover and it's all metal with fake-wood plastic. Gets tiresome but it's fun as hell with my WWII parka w/ 101st patch :P

I prefer paintball over airsoft. I played airsoft with some guys from my work one time and found it to be boring. In paintball when you get hit, you can tell their hit. When you get hit with airsoft, you cant tell. I guess it is cheaper, but I just didnt think it was fun at all.
