| What do you see yourself as?
I'm curious - who do you identify yourself most with? Do you see yourself as an American, a Texan or a New Yorker?
As the football (soccer) season here starts up again, I am reminded how much people can identify with their own city to the point where you'd think other cities are considered AlQaeda strongholds. And many of us complain about those conservatives in the back-ass corners, or others about the liberals in the god-less cities.
Still, do you see yourself primarily as an American?
Poll also for those not from the US - just replace "state" with canton/province/etc as appropriate. If your state = your city, I suppose that sucks - just decide if you also have some 'connection' to the suburbs. |
