I can only assume you're trying to derail this by going off on some vague tangent.
I'm decrying the anti-science mentality of a good portion of the United States. I draw attention to the specific example of Evolution (49% of Americans believe in it, 48% don't, 2% don't know, 3% MoE), and will add that I'm personally hoping they do a similar polling study on Global Warming - another scientific issue where Republicans and Religious people are dragging down the rest of the country.
