The problem is the fear mongering is what is lumping muslims in with the batshit insane fucks. I do realize reading the fundie thread, while its funny and a bit scary, those people don't represent EVERY Catholic out there - in fact, they embarrass most of them.

Much as the batshit insane muslims embarrass the run of the mill muslims who just want the freedom to believe as they believe. I know its probably hard to believe as a white american, but they have the same goals as you or I do. They just want to go to work, pay their taxes, raise their kids, you know, just live a normal fucking life.

You don't have to be a muslim to believe by strapping a bomb to your chest 72 virgins will fuck you when you die. You have to be an insane person to do that.

Since the offer of the virgins is right in there freakin' holy book...find me the spot in any other holy book or bible that says if you die while killing an unbeliever you get 72 virgins, then I will agree that muslims are not a threat to peace and security around the world. Ask someone from the Philipines...they have been fighting muslim terrorists since 1920's.
