The problem is the fear mongering is what is lumping muslims in with the batshit insane fucks. I do realize reading the fundie thread, while its funny and a bit scary, those people don't represent EVERY Catholic out there - in fact, they embarrass most of them.
Much as the batshit insane muslims embarrass the run of the mill muslims who just want the freedom to believe as they believe. I know its probably hard to believe as a white american, but they have the same goals as you or I do. They just want to go to work, pay their taxes, raise their kids, you know, just live a normal fucking life.
You don't have to be a muslim to believe by strapping a bomb to your chest 72 virgins will fuck you when you die. You have to be an insane person to do that.
