The conspirators count on the population to be somewhat dumbed down, but unfortunately for them, not everyone is. It is also possible that it was never intended to be kept a secret forever, as you are implying. Also, why would the cost of a missile come into play, you think they would skimp on missiles while at the same time spending billions on other things? The first frames of the video that the pentagon released to the public show a long cylindrical object. Watch the tops of the trees on the right edge of the frame, the cylindrical object comes into view from just under the tops of the trees, and you can still see the trees. A plane would have blocked those trees from view. All people have asked is for the actual videos to be released, so that debate can be settled. Instead they are classified and won't be released due to national security reasons.
