| My favorite ratting ship is ishtar its good dps and very fast. if you wanna rat and be able to PVP other cruiser class ships and under train for one right away. I would not try to 0.0 rat for cash in anything but a BC and up.
On the other hand when my security status was -4 or some and i was relatively new to the game and poor i fit an ishkur that could solo any 0.0 BS spawn but it took ages so it was only useful for sec hits. Anyway the set up was
3x Light Neutron Blasters t2
1x small dimin
1x 10mn afterburner
2x Cap recharger T2
2x mag stab T2
1x MAPC
with 2 hammerhead T2 and 3 Hobgoblin T2
Not sure on the 2 cap rechargers in mid, i may have had a warp scram/webber dunno though. If you want sec hits from the Big 0.0 Rats this setup is great you can orbit at 500 and beat them dead in about 4 minutes each. Just keep transversal up and you dont get hit. That being said Dont engage webber rats. |
