| E3 2007 is completely closed to anyone but press and the folks working the booths. No public day, no booth babes, just keynotes and demos. It's also spread out over like 13 or more hotels and other sites, rather than a big convention center. The supposed aim for all of this is to make the experience more "intimate", meaning the press will have more time to ask questions and demo games rather than 5 minutes stays split between devs and demos.
All that being said, I find it hard to believe this set up will allow more in depth coverage when the E3 staff has purposely scheduled events to be held at the same time in 2 or more locations, locking you in to only seeing one. But we'll see how that goes Wednesday I suppose.
