Missioning is the way to go, together with Salvaging (make sure to check what skills you need first).
To find a good Agent go

scroll to Step 5 and check the Agent you need/ want).
You will make several millions alone off the Salvage, adding rats bounty and misson payment... good stuff for new chars.
