| I don't like Bonds because he is a douche bag. As a ball player, he is good, there is no denying it. The juice doesn't make his hand/eye coordination any better and that's what you need to actually make contact.
Pete Rose is one of the greatest players the game has ever seen. It is a shame he went and fucked up because it is a sin that the game's leading hitter isn't in the hall. There is to much "political" bullshit with the hall voters anymore though. Case and point, Shoeless Joe Jackson. He was given a life time ban from baseball. It's easy arguable that he didn't partake in the bribe in the first place based on his numbers from the series. That aside, the man is dead, and so should his lifetime ban.
