| Dang, Columbus stole our assistant GM. My money's on Howson not lasting much more than a year. Columbus was desperate for a GM for a couple reasons: a) the draft is right away, and it's probably a good idea to have someone in place for it and b) no one wants to work with Hitchcock. It'll be interesting to see what happens there.
I'd be shocked if you don't see the Oilers make at least a couple trades prior to or at the draft. We've got a bazillion picks, and not a hell of a lot of use for them. |
