| AFAIK, different ISPs who deal with transatlantic communication lease different links specifically, so it might be an ISP-specific regional problem even. That, and a "faulty router" might mean anything. Maybe it has a software bug that suddenly makes it unable to route packets from IP addresses that match your last three digits, who knows. |
