| Well I never played Vanguard, I had beta invites from the begining of time but just never bothered to download it. When Vanguard first started everyone was going on about Brad being a god etc. This is why so many people were dissaponted in the end, they were expeciting too much from one person.
It takes a dedicated TEAM a lot of work to make a game, and my only experiences have been on PC sports games / playstation EA games. Developing an mmorpg is probably about 300x as hard. Dont Blame everything on Brad, although he can be blamed a little. The day microsoft started funding the project was the day Brad was no longer in control, even though they said he was. Whoever is paying the bills is ultimatly calling the shots. Vanguard being released early, do you think that was 100% Brads decisions? or maybe Smed will take a lil blame for that... or for SOES investors for expecting.... the blame goes on forever.
I guarantee no one is happy about the failure, people lost jobs. We should stop bickering about who is to blame and wish these guys the best. |
