I thought I did a good job explaining this a few months back, but I suppose it bears repeating. When you see me post, and you respond to me, and then I respond to you, that is a conversation that you and I are having, the two of us. It's in a public place, so others may comment, and I (or you) may respond to those other people. That my (an the Clique's) message stays the same (read: were not flipp flopping or bowing to pressure from the fuck-faces) is a testament to who we are as people, and as community members.
I know that I will not come out and say something sucks unless I am damn sure that it sucks. And when I say I am sure that it sucks, I am going to be sure today, tomorrow, next week, and next year, unless something significant changes.
When you read my response to you, that is just what that is, my response to you. When you read my response to fuck-face #1-114 on the following pages, I AM NOT TALKING TO YOU ! I know thats a tough concept to grasp, but we are all allowed to comment, to state our opinions, to flame, rant, whine, launch and defend from attacks ad nauseum.
As it has been said about 1.2 million fucking times, if you don't like it, don't read it. Use the ignore feature (or PM me if you can't figure out how to use it), read WHO wrote the message before you read the actual message (I like to call this a mental filter).
In summary, we were not copying and pasting anything, we were not spamming and filling threads with the exact same message over and over again (but GG at your attempt at revisionist history). We were having conversations, many of them, and given the ratio of the "clique" to both the "vanbois" group, and the "lets wait and see group" in addition to the "stfu I don't like you or your message group" that was a LOT, A LOT of ground for us 4-6 people to cover in any given thread.
I can see where this can be confusing, but try to grasp the bigger overall picture. |
