Never have to spam, never have to button mash. When I played my 70 warrior in WoW it was similar, start with charge, then wait for rage to build to hit MS, Hamstring, DS or HS among other things.
Now I will grant you for some classes there are many abilities that do similar things, but if you pay attention you know which few you actually use.
I still don't get the hate for the "Button-mashing. skill/spell spamming", cause I don't do it, nor do I see it anymore than a WoW rogue trying to get a skill off when building energy. | Never played a templar, i played a dirge to around 40 and rogue (or was it assassin?) to around 20. I was referring to that there is no global cooldown and I had at least 15 unique abilities (not counting songs) that had their own cooldown and all i was ever doing was hitting the skill when the cooldown was up...it was boring. |
