| vg has some bright spots, their diplomacy game was good, their concepts were good.
the problem imo they had was they thought to broadly on implementation.
problem 1- game engine performance on the average players system wasn't good (bar set to high)
problem 2- world was too large- or rather they Developed too much world at once and didn't concentrate enough to make sure it all ran right and was Fun to play.
IMO dev's need to focus more on getting it right FIRST then expanding...Sigil built the world THEN went back and put stuff in-as we can see it didn't work that well.
i hope the employees/exemployees get jobs asap cuz losing your job sucks. |
