There is nothing wrong about staying positive about a game, but Vanboys wouldnt even take a peek from behind the blinders they were wearing.
I’ve been saying Vanguard is doomed for a long time now, I’ve thrown out a few "I told you so" but it was far less satisfying than I thought it would be so I stopped.
The reason it doesn’t feel good is because Vanguard was our hope for a new non-WOW style MMO and it failed. In the end I enjoyed being right, but im also sad Vanguard couldn’t pull it off.
If SOE does buy Vanguard and re-launches the game please shut down the servers for about 1 month. Don’t bill anyone. Clean the bugs, re-open BETA for another month, Purge everything, open the flood gates with a free month.
If the above is done I will come back and try it out. If SOE buys it up and just does patches leaving the economy and dupes and exploited level 50 characters in the game I wont be returning.
