It's not depressing, it's mixed. On the one hand, I can sympathize with the fired Sigil employees, on the other hand, I'm very glad McQuaid and Butler didn't managed to foist a crap game on the gaming public then paper it over with hype. I can only hope those two took a personal financial hit from its failure, and that McQuaid never gets within 10 miles of another project ever again. Best of luck to the Sigil employees as they look for other jobs in the industry.
