And it's not a good idea to be cross-training for this fight when you have to defend your belt in Boxing a month before. The problem with cross-training is that you cannot master one skill without letting another fall behind.
Good luck to him. Maybe he'll understand what the future of combat sports is and hopefully the dick waving about which sport is better will stop.
By the way, I bet if a Boxer does fight one of the top MMA fighters, they will be humble to it afterwards, "Much respect for these guys, they're true athletes. They're good at what they do." This shit is all publicity for their dying sport. |
