| Like 95% of the people who would ever be interested in VG have an ingrained hatred of SOE and all the sloppy fuck-uppery that comes with them running an MMO (Sorry again EQ2, lol).
Selling VG to SOE is literally like selling your soul to the devil for that large segment of people who would ever give VG a try.
MAYBE, SOE could turn VG around... give it the love and attention it needs to recuperate and prove to the hardcore world that it has reformed itself; But mostly likely they will merge servers, cut CS, then tie VG up in it's bedroom so it doesn't wander off, and slowly let it die through neglect whilst cashing it's social security checks, and selling off it's prescriptions on the street. |
