I think you are reading that statement wrong, or maybe I am.
I don't see it as saying why anything involving Vanguard doesn't matter, I see it as saying it doesn't matter that SOE is in control. The rest of the blog sorta follows that line of thinking, in that SOE is just as (or more) likely to get VG back on track.
