| my favorite author bar none. the way he communicated the absurdity of life in his books really changed my outlook on life. Even though he was a curmudgeon/pessimist/complete misanthrope to varying degrees throughout his life and career, after finishing each book I actually had a more positive outlook on life for having read it.
