And honestly.. most of the bands i listen to are more lowkey as i like to put it... not less popular.. i didnt say that
I just hatei t when people shoot down mainstream bands just because theyre that.. mainstream...
And in order for anything to get popular people have to like it.. and people have to hear it.. that is the combination...
People seem to forget that "people need to like it" part a lot...
I listen to 90% Mindless Self Indulgence... and then 10% of EVERYTHING else..... Nine Inch Nails... Pearl Jam...Daft Punk...NOFX...Dead Kennedys...Nothing New...Dillenger Escape Plan...Primus and a vast array of other stuff..
So yeah... thats about where I stand
