Couple points. I would rather them take 2 years and release something that is well polished. Despite the raiding issues etc with TBC, I found the content and world I experienced in TBC to be pretty awesome, right down to Haris Pilton.
Also, I recall alot of the TBC critisizm being "it's more of the same" and I agree. It might not hurt to go in an entirely different direction ie: housing, boats, cities, siege's or anything else slightly outside the current wow box.
