No.. Chevy made a deal with the producers to have
all the good guys in the transformer movie be Chevys.
What's more, Bumblebee will start out as a 1970 Camaro, will get owned by the bad guys at some point of the plot and than be rebuild as the new 2008/2009 Camaro. Check

That's an advertising deal set and done, long before VW (lacking a hollywood lobby) could do anything about it. If they put out some blurb about not being associated with war/violence, it was only to save face.
