I ask myself this question everyday. It's almost though if you give up without getting to where you could go that you feel like you wasted all of your time that you put into gearing up your char(s). ANd yes, I have friends that play too and I like talkin to them and shiz, but I play mostly to kill shit and see some phat loot and perhaps drag the occasional uber item to torment people that I don't like =)
