I cannot believe the turn around in public talk that this game has obtained in the past few months. Just three months back I was arguing that a WoW clone was pointless and that the developers should feel bad for being so uncreative, but AV. 00 (After Vanguard) I've learned how to appreciate care, fluff, and interesting lore. I don't even mind that it's basically DDO instancing, but with genuine story elements thrown in, combined with WoW paced combat with DAoC's class design anymore. Fuck, I'm considering pre ordering it with my brothers and running through the game after I had sworn off online games.
Really, quite the impressive turn around but it still has to run the gauntlet of the unmitigated bitchfest that will be open beta.
