| Well if he handled it 100% right is very debatable I guess. Yeah he could of sent a PM but I am also a firm believer that sometimes people need called out on their actions in front of everyone. Sure pulling someone off to the side and saying "hey, knock it off" can get them to stop but often times they only stop for the time being. I dont even need to mention names for people to know that is VERY true on these boards. "Oh shit one of the mods is upset, ill stop...for now" is all too common around here.
I hope they do become a bit heavy handed with the modding to be honest. I really long for the day that I can come read a thread about EQ2/WoW/VG before work and enjoy myself. Instead of the way it is now where I have to skip half the fucking thread because you guys wont just give the shit a rest already. I dont even play EQ2 or VG but Id still would like to read up on the latest and greatest without sifting through endless amounts of shit. Though that is prob asking for too much. I understand that some of the mods here are very busy with leading their guild and really dont have the time to baby sit all day. |
