I shouldn't have to point out to you (since you are mod) that noone holds a gun to your head, forcing you to read what I write. I can clearly see which side of the "fence" you sit on regarding posting on this forums, I can only hope there is equal representation from the other side of the "fence" to balance out what appears to be an obvious bias.
I thought my post was well thought out, well constructed, not flaming in any way, and asked several good questions, questions that myself and I am sure others want to see answered.
I am genuinely insulted by your calling my post useless drivel, you would think that mods would try to remain neutral and above the fray to avoid any type of "bias allegation", but as we can clearly see, that is not the case with you.
I was responding to Nino talking about the FAQ (and I don't see you attacking HIM for talking about a FAQ that is however many years old) and asking him some clarifiying questions regarding what he said. In your obviously biased eyes, you see nothing but "worthless nitpicking" when in my eyes I see a post trying to get to the bottom of the following:
1. Why the FAQ was handled the way it was (and it was handled quite oddly if you ask me)
2. How that ties into "managing expectations" and specifically, how critical Brad said time and again that action was
3. Why I keep hearing them say the same "You can't please everyone" line coming from people working on the game. It feels like they are writing off the game themselves, when what they should be doing is talking about who they CAN please, and focus their efforts there.
I freely admit I have done my fair share of whining, flaming and even the occasional useless post on this forum (as has just about everyone) but to go "nuclear" on me for that particular post, strikes me as someone who isn't really reading what is being written, but who is seeing a name, a name they do not like, and attacking.
Surely a moderator should be above that type of thing don't you agree ? I will keep my fingers very crossed that your "faction" does not end up dictating what we can say and do on this forum, sincerely. Theres alot of stuff going on here that I may or may not like, but I don't see the burning need to ATTACK and CHANGE and BAN everyone who doesn't fit into my personal mold of what is acceptable.
I say all this with all due respect to your position as a mod, and as a member of this forum. This is not meant as a flame, attack or insult, this is meant as a means of expressing my concern over your actions. I truly hope you can see the signs and know their meaning here.
