| Yeah, I'd disagree with the assessment that Fabled Velious was insane. My guild at the time went through it with 30 people and had few problems doing most of it. While the loot tables were admittedly shallow, no expansion previous had more than 1 Fabled drop per mob, either. So it's not like it was inconsistent. The problem was that A: The initial AC on the items was the same, and usually the stats were too. So, for example. we has 20 AC +300 hp items. They were just badly tuned at the onset and were not tuned until after the Fabled events were removed from game. Therefore, at the time you could kill them, the loot was crap. It became decent after it was impossible to get.
It was chaotic, and in the end wasn't worth farming, but it served its purpose at least. To somewhat adequately reward you for spending time killing old Velious mobs, redone. |
