VG's greatest potential is in the whole diplomacy sphere. I'll have to say I was pleasantly surpised at the twist that took. They may have fucked up adventuring completely and their tradeskill system still lacks creativity (Hit me up Brad, for the cost of a steak dinner I'll give you the most awesome and addictive tradeskill system possible) but diplomacy will continue to have distinct possibilities for awesomeness.
Now if only I could pay 5 bucks a month just for diplomacy. 8(
