| Stuff like that happened to me sometimes too (the CTD issue, not usually after getting rezzed, though), I just figured it is because EverQuest has proven how shitty my computer is with the last two expansions. It could be anything.
Having a CTD everytime you get a resurrection doesn't really sound like a hardware issue to me, but it would be best to make sure they work properly.
Make sure all of this is in working condition with no conflicts, and then go from there. This list is not copied from anywhere, so if I forget anything, I don't care enough for anyone to point it out.
Various Hardware Issues:
(bolded signifies higher probability of a problem)
Video Card
Sound Card
Motherboard
Memory (could be a bad stick of ram, et cetera)
Hard Drive (may have various corrupted files, damage to the surface of the disk, etc)
Network - Make sure your internet connection is also stable and in working condition.
Software Issues:
(make sure everything is installed properly)
Operating System
Game files (EverQuest)
Drivers
