| does it happen on teh res, or when you try to loot your corpse?
defrag
do an online virus scan (dont trust anything local to detect everything)
scandisk
patch with the through file check option
move your personal settings files out of the EQ folder and get a res with only defualts (res a dual death)
if that doesnt work, backup your personal files and reinstall EQ (delete old install first)
finally petition a GM to take a res for you and see if its a server side data problem. (or login on a friends system and see if the problem persists) |
