I understand if for example Guild B cheeses to beat the Emperor while Guild A is still killing it - that impacts your playtime. But if guild A is already farming Elemental Planes, who cares if Guild B uses 100 people to kill the Emp?? It wouldn't affect Guild A's gaming experience one bit.
