I'm not looking to clear my name. I coudl easily post under a message board handle that has no link to my in game handle. I choose not to and therefore I will run the risk of in game problems due to how people react to my posts.

I don't care what my rep is. I'm simply offering up the conversation that started the rep. Yes its a edited log. I did not think it wise to reveal the screen names of the guilty without their permission or to post the profanity that was present in the log.

Untrue. This was investigated. I had 40 or 50 people flamming me and telling me to remove him and pay the 20k and I had 10 or 20 people telling me (some publiclly) that it was a stupid scam to get a few laughs off my expense and a little plat.

I tried to ignore the flames.

The community is run by a small loose cartel of guilds. If any of the power brokers there demands somehting of you or flames a post you make you dare not go against their will.. if you do you become black listed. I basiclly told them to stick it..

This was the one and only incident I had before I was "blacklisted". A small guild with barely 3 groups of planer leveled folks at the time should be of no concern to a massive community. Aparently the power brokers were bored and needed somehtign to chew on. I should have bit my touge and ignore the entire incident and the flames. I did not and I was branded for that.

The GL in question never got his extortion money and has since quit the game after his guild failed and was reborn. That was satisfaction enough. As I see it I never compromised my intgrity.

3 months after the incident the member in question was removed from the guild. We did it after we were sure he was responsible. I felt that he was either 1. Responsible for the Ninja, or 2. Party to a scheme to extort plat from me and an ebayed account of somone in the other guild.

Funny every post I made on magicians tower has been e-mailed back to me by people on Saryrn who "hate" me. I have been blamed for all sorts of nerfs to all sorts of classes by 16 year old social inepts that need serious help.

Saryrn was and is controled by a tiny few guilds. They seldom recruit and folks are forced to just deal with that. I would love to see Saryrn turned into a PvP server for just 1 day. The resulting fights would be legendary. There is that much hate between the top guilds and between the bottom guilds and 70% of the server and the top guilds.

Avoiding flames in 1 situation.. that is what you speak of.. I tried to avoid the flames and make a honest decision where there was no evidence to support either side.

I think its a bit retarded to be viewed by that one decision for all time. However I also think that Saryrn is one of the worst servers to ever be a part of.

Fact - Somone from that "other guild" showed up at my home. 1.5 years ago. He managed to get my address from information on my ezboard account.

Fact - I was "blacklisted" by the community for the issues revolving around Scartak. I refused to deguild the individual until I was sure about the incident. I refused to pay any plat for an incident I was not involved with.

Stormhammers challanages are different, my issues there involved the fact that member turnover is to high on the server to effectively run a guild. I lack the time and skill to run a guild in that enviornment. A place where you could loose 10 of your best people each month and recruit 10 more because people use the place to farm their epics and gear.

The fact of the matter is Saryrn sucks as a community and Stormhammer just needs tighter character movement restrictions.
