| The permian-triassic extinction was caused by rodents which fancied themselves "super rodents" setting up shop on pangaea. The dinosaurs didn't like this and much chaos insued resulting in the rodents forcing the dinosaurs to the moon with a new weapon which created the abyss now known as South Dakota.
