| I don't think it matters much one way or the other what religion or anti-religion the founding fathers were. If they made laws that were clearly catering to the Christian majority when it was founded, then that's what you go by. And it's quite clear the major sects of Christianity at the time had a very big influence on this country's founding laws, and that they still do to this day.
