| The problem isnt so much that the lore writers suck. The problem is more or less the high turnover rate of people who are working on content/quests. DevJoe may be working on something pretty neat/cool .. but then gets fired, moved to a different project, given a different job or exported to alaska to make iglus for underprivleged children. Then up comes DevBob ... he see's a bit of what DevJoe was doing, its not done.. so he tries to pick up the pieces .. rinse, repeat and that is why so much of the lore in EQ is all over and not totatly consistant.
Chances are, if they had the same core people now that they had at the start working on lore/quests/etc .. you'd see something alot more coheasive then it is now. |
