| The other thing to take into consideration is that Punishing Blade and other 2h enhancing aa skills put quite a bit of extra power into the 2h line of weapons. The lack of 1h alternatives doesnt bother me as much since Id rather not take that many 1200 hit ripostes. The obcene damage/riposte and the added DPS of using a PB3 2hb makes ditching 1h a clear choice thusfar.
However, it seems that theres one or two decent 2h options for most classes so far, and theyre at best sideways alternatives for the Luclin versions. Now its not entirely bad that the gimp POP mobs arent dropping vastly superior weapons to Ssra, but it is clear that the difficulty of end 3rd tier and elemental planes is VASTLY harder than cursed/emp, yet the rewards are at best ~equal. Why is it also that trivial BOT minibosses drop something like the 41/31 2hb that is also on par with ssra drops?
I saw a 35/20 2hb with 185hp yesterday and after seeing the damage bonus, all that could be said was that it'd be nice extra HP's for pulling but who would want to swap it out for a decent DPS. I'd gladly drop the particle effects on these new toys if theyd make mods, procs, and bonuses that actually were worthwhile. |
