| I think someone just tried to break in. My alarm went off, looked outside the window and saw my lights flashing so I ran outside and looked around. About a block away on the other side of the street was a guy on a bike and he was looking away. I moved my car to a more visible spot and he was watching me and came biking past me.
I think I might have to get mace or a tazer. What happens if I do catch someone breaking in my car, amd I supposed to say "HEY STOP, LET ME CALL THE POLICE YOU WAIT HERE". What kind of action can I take without getting arrested/sued for assault?
