I just picked this up the other day and I've only read about 20 pages but im way into it. I tried reading Blood Meridian and got about 100 pages but got bored with it, finding this much more engrossing and a bit easier to read.

The Cohen brothers, who will hopefully taking a holiday from sucking after their last two pictures are making the film version which is in post production.

Oh yeah, author is Cormac McCarthy, his style reminds me of a toned down Virginia Wolf meets Bukowski or something. Hell do crazy run ons and then three word sentences that, for whatever reason, are just powerful. Hes also very dark. Im not sure what happened, if anything, to him, but it was probably fucked up.

Story is an average joe is walking around out west somewhere, comes upon some shot up trucks, finds bodies, alot of heroin, and 2 million dollars. He takes the money and runs and then apparently all hell breaks lose. I havent gotten to the all hell breaking lose part yet.
