Thought I would start a new thread about good / bad Audio Commentaries. I love the commentaries included on DVD's I think it was a great idea and enjoy listening to most people that made the movie.
The Good
True Romance - Quinten Tarrintino did a great commentary, it was interesting because he was the writer and he went into great detail about how he got started. The differences between how he would have filmed it and how Tony did, but did a great deal of gushing for Tony who he loves. Also great little stories about some of the speaches in the movie and where they came from.
Kevin Smith movies - always very entertaining, they even have a few that are video commentaries like on mall rats where you can see them while they are talking about the movie. Always great little anicdots and Mews is always drunk and sleeping or making an anus of himself, quite amusing.
The Bad
Braveheart - Mel Gibson, unfortunately I don't think he did much prep work before doing the commentary as he mostly pointed out what was happening on the screen and then staying silent for 10-15 minute periods

Hopefully if he does a few more he will learn to watch the movie before doing the commentary so he knows was kind of stuff to say
Anyone else??
