this makes me sad...as so far, they have done a good job at making sure the value has not inflated too much.
Some serious suggestions/questions as to why not?
1. Make durability have a max cap. Meaning if you have full purples and your all red...it will cost you X gold to repair if you have tier 1 or 5.
2. Make boss mobs drop a consistent amount of gold, despite when it game into the game. So Luci would drop just as much stuff from the black temple. That way no more gold is being put into the system.
3. Again, reduce the amount of gold one could get by killing mobs in the world.
4. Make dumb gold investments such as 'war efforts' or something. Every month, people dump items, gold into an NPC. Both horde and alliance. He who gave the most wins. WHen you visit a faction city over time you get some nice buff for an hour. Nothing stupid like turns you into a gnome or faction bonus. But something just below say Ony head buff.
