| If you're a newbie in your first caracal still trying to scrape together the ISK for ammo, no you won't be solo ganking anyone not afk. If you have two-three friends in their first caracals? Absolutely.
Low-sec is being depopulated rapidly for various reasons, but you can engage in some fun risk-free piracy while there's piracy to be had. Invest some very nominal SP into astrometric skills, fly to a .1-.4 mission hub system and scan down the nearest mission runner. Warp in, triangulate his exact position with another probe, warp in right on top of him, web/scramble/nos him and have a friendly chat while the rats he was fighting blast away.
I think Sniggwaffe in particular is still recruiting if you want to join a solid piracy corp that accepts newbies. As with everything else, you won't accomplish anything truly notable in EVE solo unless you just enjoy hoarding ISK.
If you're talking about consentual fleet-based pvp, then chances are you're out of luck until 5mil SP at least or so. 0.0 is pretty barren for fresh pilots. |
