You really shouldn't let that stop you. "Virtual friends" are better for playing "virtual games" together anyways, in my experience, when I play wow with my RL friends, I always just get frusterated with how much they suck  |
Well everyone that I play with are virtual friends. EVE just seems extremely difficult to a new player without any outside help/advice/handholding. Perhaps it's different now, and this guide helps alot. I'm not sure. It would take a bored afternoon to get me to try the 14 day trial again. It seems exciting to play, but all I remember is spending 80% of my time warping everywhere.
