I'm similar to others who have posted here. I've had characters in Eve pretty much since release. One is 10m SP, other is 13m. But a lot of that is industrial type stuff on one character, and for both there's lots of level 5's simply cause I've cancelled my accounts at least half a dozen times, and each time I do I make sure I select a level 5 right before my account expires (thanks CCP for not being assholes and halting training when the account expires!). BS, Elect, Eng, Learning, WU, AWU are all at or near level 5 for both characters, for example.

I've never really gotten too into the game. I did the carebear type of stuff, missions, trading, a bit of building, and mostly mining.

I think I might take your advice and just buy a bunch of kessies and go around getting used to PVP. When I was playing I always had the mentality of "don't PVP until you're in a BS", but that's kind of ass backwards. Problem is, if I go getting my ass blown up and podded, clones are gonna get expensive. I think I'll probably roll up a third character after the expansion and use him to get used to PVP.

But the thing is, I'm really not all that interested in PVP. I want to get into 0.0 with a corp where I'd be doing group based stuff, whether PVP or mining or complexes, whatever. But I don't really have any interest in simply going around and ruining other people's day just for the sake of it. I needs to find me a good corp, but from what I've read here, I've got to have some PVP credentials to get in.

Ah well, accounts are cheap!

Come to think of it, how much do accounts sell for, anyway? Or more specifically, a 10m+ SP account?
