I read Brad and teams entire response, and a theme appeared (at least to me) of an overall "we are doing our best, we are working on it, we are running short on time, stfu with your bitching". Did anyone else get that too ?

The overall tone is that of someone who is either really pissed off, or just completely burned out. I really can't recall seeing such an adversarial tone taken on an official post like that, at least not in recent memory (across all games not just VG).

It's also pretty scary how just about every "comfort statement" regarding an issue ends up, in a round about way being "will be bandaided as best we can, and then fixed -maybe- once we go live".

They are out of time, they seem to be running low on money and talent (I dont recognize any of those senior designer names besides Brad-not that they arent talented) and finally, out of patience.
