| I've actually tried it before. This is my third year doing it. First year, I "won" it, last year had some trouble and wussed out at 30K. I'd highly recommend it for aspiring novelists - it forces you to ignore your inner editor and get words on paper.
The key - write 2K words a day. This isn't really that bad if you split it up into 30 minute writing sprees.
Also, if you haven't started yet, no worries. See if you can hit 35K or something. |
