The graphics looked "okay"? I am not doubting that your multi-thousand dollar computer has the potential to pump out better graphics (and is probably more powerful than the 360), but what PC games are out that look better than GoW? I'm honestly curious.
Anyway, the difference between standard definition and high definition is huge for me. The text in some games (like Dead Rising) is almost impossible to read unless you have an HD-TV. Like the above poster said, if you cannot afford an HDTV at the moment then get the VGA cable for your computer monitor. Unless it is extremely ancient the cable should hook up just fine. Just remember you will need speakers for sound!
